Saint Paul Wind Turbine

Standing at 242 feet tall, the wind turbine at Saint Paul is visible throughout much of the City of Worcester. Using sensors and computers, turbine automatically rotates to face the direction of the wind, and the blades adjust themselves to best capture the breeze. The turbine stops and locks in place when wind speeds reach more than 55 mph.
